Meet Our People

The Reverend Stephen Onyekwere is the chairman and founder of ANNA ONYEKWERE FOOD BANK FOUNDATION. He comes to the role with vast experiences from life and rigorous academic training. He is a trained philosopher, a psychosocial mental health practitioner, and an existential well-being counselor in Australia. Having worked as a volunteer in humanitarian organizations, he is driven by the desire to alleviate hunger and empower people, particularly those from the fringes of society in West Africa and beyond. However, Reverend Stephen's humble beginnings are a major contributor to his eagerness to impact life, having witnessed his mother, Anna, provide food and comfort to the needy over many years. Integrity is his watchword.
